Fighting Dragons: How do you conquer procrastination?

February 7, 2014 § 2 Comments

Okay, so I’m fighting with myself to get back to some revisions I’ve been postponing. What’s up with that? It’s not like I don’t want to get the changes done. It’s not even that I don’t know what I need to do. Why is this dragon rearing its ugly head? I’ve decided this stage of procrastination is just a part of my overall writing process. It shows up right near the finish line of every project. I’m curious to know what you other writers do to rev up to face the page every day? Is procrastination or fear of finishing a part of your process, too?
