Refueling the Soul

Celtic Woman Concert

Every writer needs refueling periodically. I’ve found the exploration in other arts to work for me: painting, photography, dance, sculpture, and especially music. Yesterday—MAGICAL.

A Sunday afternoon. Celtic Woman Concert. Transported. Mesmerized. Colored lights=music. Music=colored lights. Bagpipes playing “Amazing Grace.” A sultry solo of “The Moon is a Hard Mistress.” Flying feet dancing. A blonde-haired sprite binding spells across the stage as she OWNED that violin. Angelic voices. Percussion extraordinaire! Haunting. Mesmerizing. Countless standing ovations. Worth every dollar and then some.
